Youth Development Ecosystem Report (2023)

Working together with Youth Development Collaboration Lab (YD Co-Lab), Lucha Lunako helped fund and project manage the development of the Youth Development Ecosystem Report 2023. Given both entities’ commitment to visibility and collaboration between actors in the youth development sector, this project was prioritised as the very first collaborative output of the YD Co-Lab consortium and serves as the foundation for realising the collective objective of building a dynamic and thriving youth development ecosystem in South Africa. As youth employment initiatives are not well coordinated, the mapping was identified as an important component of a functional youth development environment, since documenting who is currently operating in the space is one step closer to understanding it.
