Our Programmes
The Youth Have It™ Foundational Skills Programmes
Lucha Lunako has developed a suite of curated courses designed to shift mental models in young people and help them take active ownership of their own futures. Our research shows that many youth lack well-formed healthy foundations. This makes it challenging to build strong technical skills without addressing emotional capacity, personal agency, and resilience. The courses can roll out as standalone initiatives or be integrated into a partner’s broader programme to support whole-person development. Courses are between 6-12 weeks long, with each lesson lasting 2 hours.
Not courses, but learning journeys
Our programmes are designed to develop foundational skills in young people through a series of engaging learning journeys. We address not just the symptoms but the root causes of the challenges youth face, such as mental and emotional resilience, and relational health.
We don’t just provide content; we create a safe space where young people can explore their own potential. Our programs are rooted in research and best practices to ensure real-world impact. These programmes must help young people:
- Embark on a journey of personal discovery and confidence building;
- Develop critical foundations that will enable them to overcome difficult circumstances;
- Make their own decisions and pursue the opportunities available to them; and
- Have hope for a prosperous future.
The following list is our current offering, and may be added to in the future.

Our programmes are Learning Journeys for Behaviour Change
To ensure real-world impact, our programmes are rooted in research and best practices, modelled on and tested in accordance with our key guiding principles. We don’t just provide content; we create a safe space where young people can explore their own potential:
- We enable: Help young people find opportunities within themselves
- We support: Content and information doesn’t change people, but our facilitation creates an environment that is a healthy breeding ground for change
- We unlock: Encourage behaviours that can carry young people forward in life, helping them build personal & relational health

Our Approach
Our approach is based on a holistic theory of change. We address the root causes of youth unemployment by starting with self-development and character building as a foundation to a prosperous life. We work to develop the personal characteristics that build resilience, such as confidence, connection and competence. At the same time, we focus on aligning young people with their personal goals of wellness, prosperity, and agency.
